I just tend to think the paradigm shifted, and has been constantly shifting for some time now. I would imagine there are some people around here who are old enough to remember a time when, I dunno, having a black father and a white mother would have been seen as the kind of thing that would give a kid a 'hard time growing up,' because the family dynamic was so out of the ordinary and generally frowned upon.
I guess I just think that change is inevitable, advances in possibilities are inevitable, and you can either fight it or you can take it for what it's worth and try to keep the world going as best you can.
