Going back to last year, he handled slop and Pyro didn't. And Pyro wasn't going to beat him at 6f. I wanted to play against at the BC, but when it rained it was going to be hard to catch horses like War Pass. To their credit he ran very well that day. The 2yo season is basically to crown a champion miler. It helps to be precocious. They don't always match the kind of horses that have to run 10 furlongs. I actually hope War Pass bounces back and shows some heart.
