AGain, you don't know any of them personally. I would contend all of these guys had "attitude" of some sort to become as great as they were. And again...most of these guys were 30s, 40s and 50s, 60s, 70s era athletes. Carr and Grriffin as well were not great professional athletes or even close to it. You brought up Garnett and Duncan from today.
NIke was not around to throw billions at Russell or Motley like they did for LeBron and Tiger and many today. It's nice to compare...but the worlds Jesse Owens and LeBron James were superior athletes in is just a hair different. Maybe LeBron hammers Z on the court. I don't think he does...but if you remember LeBron begged management to keep him when his contract was up and Z signed a very nice contract to stay in Cleveland. AFter the conference championship win....I saw Z make a direct bee-line to LeBron after the game and was the first person to greet him. Maybe I am imagining all this stuff from being a witness but I am pretty sure all those things happened with Z after LeBron joined the team. And I guess LeBron only wanted Z back on teh team for selfish reasons?? ONly to help him get his triple doubles I guess?? Or is there only a very remote chance that he thought with Z they may have just a hair better chance to win.
I may be off kilter on this. You give me the lowdown on what really happened here as an insider of the team.
I honestly don't know about how big an azz he is as you claim...all I really care about is on court stuff and it seems to me he greatly helps a team that says Cleveland on their jerseys...that's all I see.
