10:02 - Needed a break so figured I should put down the cheerleading outfit and, as a living tribute displaying my new-found respect and admiration to and for Mr. Blackthroatedwind, Esquire, try to actually cap the card.

10:03 - Hmmm, Lucky Cordilia is entered in Race 1 and am now wondering two things.... the HK boys with the girls names... why? I mean i love the Helenes but do they have gender confusion? Also wondering if anyone else is reminded of Brideshead Revisited every time they see LC entered?

"If you knew anything of sexual psychology, you would know that nothing could give me keener pleasure than to be m-m-m-manhandled by you meaty boys - ecstacy of the naughtiest kind". (Anthony, to Charles)

10:06 - Reminded to write to HK friends and check on South China Elite.

10:10 - On to Race 2!

10:11 - Decided to skip ahead to Race 3 since no sentimental boys in the second and so it'll be easier to cap.

10:12 - A little sad now.... Hail the Storm back to Class 2? maybe it's easier points. Music from the BBC version of Brideshead now stuck in head. That's a good thing.

Cordelia Flyte: If you weren't an agnostic I should ask you for five shillings to buy a black god-daughter.
Charles Ryder: Nothing would surprise me about your religion.
Cordelia Flyte: It's a new thing that a priest started last term. You send five bob to some nuns in Africa and they christen a baby and name her after you. I have got six black Cordelias. Isn't that lovely?

10:13 - Oh good God, Take it Easy entered in R2, Go Johnny, Go in R3 and Fly Me to the Moon in R4. Don't want these songs stuck in my head so on to R5. need a Diet Coke.

10:15 - Aaaah nice field but oh another gender issue boy..... Kimberley Mines is a stand-by starter. Next break should probably be spent adding up the girly boys instead of the DT forum fantasy thing. Don't look shocked, you know you do it too. Magic Idol is always a good one, so is Jeripeo... ArlJim and GBBob (note to self, go to Chicago someday cause the men there appear to be the opposite of LA), Blackthroatedwind. Did I just say that? Imagine if you will, the capper (no, THE capper) and the pretty horsie girl ..... we've spent the evening discussing the finer points of that last Garcia-Marquez book, had the Strangers on a Train double mirror image debate, we've each pointed out the scenes in La Strada where Fellini had to use white sheets for snow cause of Tony Quinn's schedule and now, and now..... some Crystal, some music (please God anything but the Dead) , lights are dimmed, I start unzipping his jeans with my teeth and OH BE RIGHT BACK! Huh? Okay he probably wouldn't say huh but it'll due. Huh? "Oh sorry! I just need to check and see if Bullish Luck went swimming, take me a sec" . Eight Plus Nine to win cause 1. I love him, 2. I love Brett, 3., he finally has a proper jock and 4, I can be sentimental in one race, right? Jesus we can't all be objective.

10:25 - Needed a break, capping is tough, so finally found the theme from Jaws. Bought it and made it ringtone for attorney. Must google image search to find matching picture.

11:01 - Mission accomplished. Also changed ringtone for my Mom... it's now Beethoven's 5th.

[Cordelia has been telling Charles that she has recently met Sebastian living a dissolute and drunken life in a Tunisian monastery after his lover has killed himself]
Charles Ryder: It's not what one would have foretold. I suppose he doesn't suffer.
Cordelia Flyte: Oh, yes, I think he does. One has no idea what the suffering may be - to be as maimed as he is. No dignity, no power of will. No-one is truly holy without suffering.

11:02 - Famagusta is entered.... can't recall but there was a story about him once. Hmmm, better hold off on picks. Hungry now.... must grab a few reduced fat wheat thins. Taste like cardboard but hey..... real food can wait. I'm capping here. (ooops, almost lapsed into Betnags mode).

11:05 - Awwww Wait for Me entered in R9. Decided to skip over the big 2 and do those later when alcohol is involved. Why would anyone name their horse Wait for Me? At least he wasn't Helene Wait for Me... there's always a positive. Nevermind. Very Fit is a stand-by starter. Not that i care about pedigree (Zzzzz) but any half brother to Silent Witness gets automatic imaginary smoochies and peppermints in my book. These wheat thins are really awful.

11:07 - Need a new picture to go with Mom's ringtone. Thinking a picture of some brand of hairspray. Half the world's air pollution was caused by my Mom and Dianne Feinstein and their combined use of hairspray. It's a fact, albeit little-known.

11:08 - Let's forget this silliness and don the cheerleading outfit. I mean, LOOK! LOOK AT THIS FIELD! How can anyone decide between Helene Pillaging (sweet old guy), Express Win (the former Diego Garcia), Joy and Fun, and He Can Tango (he can!!!). I can't. Wonder if BTW can. Hmmm.....

11:11 - Just realized it's 11:11 and I've made one pick.

12:12 - Okay watched a ton of replays and barrier trials. Brideshead still stuck in my head, on 2nd Diet Coke, out of wheat thins, still no word from HK on South China Elite but i suppose they sleep there. Should probably get a bit of work done but wow, capping is fun. How the hell do people do this every day???
