I was a fairly regular Thistledown attendee in the days
Danny Weiler was a leading rider.
Truth be known, my first favorite jockey was his one-time rival,
Guy Smithson, but that goes back a bit far for most of you folks here.
(and I started regular track attendance in grade school, and remember the horses and riders and trainers well......
)
