To be honest, I did think that he was much too good for this field to lose but there was no way that I thought he was 1/5 better than them. am i missing the point? it sounds as tho, even tho you said daaher was not a good horse, you still picked him to win today, albeit not at the odds he went off at, and now that he lost (even tho you picked him) you were correct in saying he wasn't that good?
