Fun to look at the lineage of those horses, and imagine the dreams some owner had at one point in time......long before a $5,000 claimer with horses of those ages.


My sentimental favorite in that race, HAS to be the West Coast Invader, "Hit it Skip."

True story, I was actually at Del Mar the day he ran there in August 2006, and I kinda think I might remember him.....

He was going in west coast $50,000 claimers less than a year ago, and now is in a $5,000 claimer at Mountaineer.

Yep, I'll be at the north shore of Tahoe on Saturday, and I truly will be seeing if I can get some Win/Place action on him at the good old Tahoe Biltmore.

If I can pull my self away from (or still have gambling $$ from) the blackjack tables.....
