Same as you... I was about to bid (it was surprisingly a pretty high amount) and i thought the same... what will i do with it?

Instead of these things ending up on eBay though, I just thought it would be easy enough to have certain G1's around the country and certain charities work together to do something like this.
Sometimes they end up going for charity, but in the US some owners keep them, others don't care. I have no signed cloths in my collection, and have refrained from bidding on some because of the signiature.

Is this the one you saw on eBay?

2006 G2 American Handicap Hollywood Park

I have some nice displays for my cloths, Oak enclosures with a hanging bar and an acrylic front. I have a tall one for my 7 BC ex cloths, they hang over each other with only the names showing (except the top cloth). They take up a lot of wall space, though.
