Anyway, that's how gutsy I thought Hal's Hope was in the FLA Derby ... I normally mock the people who would buy such things.
The best part about the HH saddle cloth was that Roger Velez hadn't signed it - that alone would have decreased it's value by about 900%

Same as you... I was about to bid (it was surprisingly a pretty high amount) and i thought the same... what will i do with it?
Wish I had it now.....
Instead of these things ending up on eBay though, I just thought it would be easy enough to have certain G1's around the country and certain charities work together to do something like this.
