Went to LA on business from SC and dragged some fellow employees with me telling them all the way how I knew the horses, which they did not.
Well they bet my selections for the first four-five races which all lost. With each losing race they were getting more and more pissed at me and started to make comments about me knowing nothing.
The started betting on their own and the next race I hit a 50/1 shot (Plenty of Grace) on top of a $1,150 exacta, to this day my biggest hit.
Turned to them and said, "see I told you I knew what I was doing"!
Happened 12 years ago and still have the chart framed in my office.
