I know what you're saying somebody has to do it and take one for the team to soften up Citronade so she will be caught. But what is the reward for doing that? To me its was just a case of a horse having much better speed so everyone else is at a disadvantage. They ARE running for second unless she is off her game.

I understand what you are saying about Jocks compromising their chances to get a check. But in Foxysox's case, it looked like she wanted to go. Talamo tried to rate her and look where it got him. I do think he was in trouble no matter what he did. It also looked like Citronade didn't break to sharply either and she still got right to the front. I think Scavs said it, trainers are going to have to enter a speed horses in races versus Citronade. Otherwise she will continue to get away in the stretch. And boy, did she look good getting away yesterday.
