Albers is a below average pitcher and Patton is a double A prospect who is only a fair prospect and has a history of arm trouble. This is a good trade for Houston. They gave up a bunch of guys who aren't major league regulars and got a power hitting SS who fits the home park to a tee. If they were relying on Albers and Patton being in the rotation they were doomed anyway because those guys aren't very good.
