your right the reds and us are and would have been nuts to give cordero a 4 year contract. 4 years for relief pitching at that price knowing how volatile relief pitching can be is just insane. the reds can have him for that.

that is my thinking also give him the 10 , its only a year, we don't need postionel players at all, there is no 1-2 starters we can afford so lets not bother with this market at this time. lets sit on our hands and see how are 6 starters , 2 new rookies fair and get this bullpen a little new look.

all we need is one of the 4 like you said to do it we also have shouse and aquino. something will come together. this was as good a job as melvin could do given the circumstances
