Let's cut him some slack. The question isn't why you'd send a mare to him but whether he's worth $10,000. It's not a slam on Teuflesberg to focus on that, it's the kind of discussion all mare owners have.

At $10000 he is not grossly overpriced but his immediate female family is pretty soft and his sire line is still a little up in the air. He did run alot but was neither brilliant or really fast. I also dont know how much support he is going to get from home in regards to the commercial market.
