all the colleges pad their schedule with some not so difficult teams. it gives them a breather, and smaller colleges some money to play with and pay their bills. trouble comes when they don't have top notch opponents to move them up in the rankings.

Hawaii is in a league which the bottom teams are down more than they usually are. Plus no one any good wants to go to Hawaii and play them there. If I had a ranked team they would be the last non-conference team I would want to mess with. Boise in Boise would be another.
