Total, $4.5 million first year!

Bo Pellini is very good defensive coach. However, staff is much easier to replace than head coach. Traditionally, LSU pays its assistants well -- better than many top jobs in BCS tier. Nebraska probably has big enough wallet to get him. Rebuilding program in decline is more difficult than some folks anticipate. Notre Dame had dead cat bounce, winning season, now, they are merely cannon fodder for their opponents.

Silly season for coaches has officially begun and will continue through bowl season...
i think miles has an out clause in his contract for michigan. the best thing for miles would be loyd carr not announce his plans until after or right before the michigan bowl game.

pellini was on the solich staff when they were all let go. nebraska wants to to bring things back in to the family. pellini won't tolerate the quitters that are in that program now.

weis' rope at nd has gotten shorter. apperently he has po'd some of the former players. nd needs linemen among other things and they don't have any bodies waiting to take over. they are using everyone they have and still can't handle navy and af. nd is in big trouble.
