We are taking things slow with her, keep in mind what we did with Sumwon when we first got her. She has started to really settle down on the racetrack. I started to use a new piece of equipment called a german martingale. This encourages the horse to put their head down so that they collect themselves and use their whole body when working. When she first came in she jogged with her head in the air, this kept her from developing the much needed muscles in her neck, back, and hind end. This is the same approach we took with Sumwon in the very begining. If a horse has a strong muscular foundation and a sane mind everything else should fall into place, as it did with the other big girl.
Sumwon is still walking tack. She takes her morning stroll around the backside every morning. She is very happy, bouncing around the whole time. She has also caught they eye of a lot of people. They come out and ask who the big Colt is that I am riding, and I correct them and tell them she is a filly and is only 3 years old. All of them are very impressed. Many of them look forward to seeing her, they come out and pet her ask when she will be running or at least on the track so they can watch. So no need to worry she has a fan club here too.
Here is your little update, I hope it answers any questions you have. If not just ask away, either Jackie, Ryan or I (they are the other two girls that work for Chuck) will post a reply as soon as we get a chance.
And GPK Stop flattering yourself....you are no don Juan, Casanova, etc. WE still like you anyway.

Thanks for the update Cherie - when I was looking at Kns race replays I thought she ran with her head in the air, so good to hear that is being worked on. Knowing that several people have their eye on SWLY is flattering - hopefully no claiming race in her future - I am sure that there are other nice barns out there but no one would take care of her the way you do and she is clearly attached to you.
Thanks to everyone for all you do with our girls
