And round and round it goes....my problem was NEVER with you adding Al Sharpton to the Jackson link...even Louie fits in that they are all spokespersons for groups of folks. But why add Tawana Brawley and Crystal Mangum?? And please don't insult me by saying they are linked to Jackson and Sharpton...the context in which you mentioned them was NOT to add "evidence" against Jackson and Sharpton but to include them in your list of "political whores"...implying that Mangum might still be intoxicated etc. So from a conversation about one man (Jackson), you expanded the topic to include four other folks...all black! While leaving out the likes of Nifong and the gal who apparently falsely accused Bryant of rape. Others here want to go off on tangents...but my post wasn't to defend Jackson or even Sharpton, "Calipso Louie" or the actions of either young woman...it was to point out that singling out ONLY black folks at the exclusion of obvious white examples (I mean really, how do you mention Mangum and exclude Nifong...and yes he's been disbarred and served a token day in jail) makes your post racist! Was it intentional? I doubt it (not that you should personally care) but still it was racist. Further pandering by others is what it is...we could name thousands of incidents involving misbehavior by black folks but seems to me white, oriental and other folks misbehave also...yet here folks are, focused on only black misdeeds! To be fair, most are mentioned in relation to Jackson and Sharpton so as examples of their (Jackson and Sharpton) past positions they are relevent (only) in that context.
