Today's " win " was a confirmation of his mediocrity. Sure, he's a reasonably talented horse, probably would hit the board in a competitive NW3X in NY, but today's race was hardly anything to get excited over. He sat behind a five horse speed duel and beat Preacheratthebar by inches. If he was anything even remotely good he would have won today's race by open lengths. Nothing wrong with getting a perfect trip but he hardly took advantage of it to demonstrate ANY kind of superiority.
Genuinely good horses overcome adversity at least once in their lives. Ya know.....like Mayan King has.
