Doesn't mention that he was an Assisant trainer to Sir Mark Prescott for 2 years-that's possibly the toughest assistantship that anyone can have as Prescott runs a military operation.
Crisford moved onto be the gallops correspondent for the Racing Post because he couldn't afford to buy a stable. Prescott's other assistant Adrian Lee moved to Michael Jarvis and then bought a stable which nearly bankrupted him. Even back in 1987-8 when Adrian set up we were talking well over £200,000 (probably around $350,000 then) just to buy the stable.
