I would not start Sabathia today. Not on 3 days rest after throwing 114 excruciating pitches in game 1. They are still ahead in the series. In 1999, they were ahead of the Red Sox 2-1 and they started Colon on 3 days rest after he was briliiant in game 1 and they lost the game 23-7. It did not go well to say the least!!...they then lost game 5 in Cleveland. I think the best option for them tonight would be Aaron Laffey. He is unknown, the Yankees have never seen him and he is an extreme ground ball throwing lefty against a heavily stacked left-handed/switch hitting lineup. Byrd is a horrid matchup against the Yankees...a soft tossing/strike throwing/flyball pitcher in Yankee stadium. It is a terrifying situation for us Indian fans.
