So true, they will break your heart and your check book. I have to say while running, Red more than paid for himself. He drew a check in every start except twice. No he wasnt a world champion but he is what this sport is all about, the working class racehorse. We could actually run him on a Thursday then agian on Sunday. If they had the 250yd races back then like they do now, I think they would have banned us from the track, cause he was the fastest thing out of a set of gates that most have ever seen. And then went on to become a Pro Rodeo winning barrel horse. Now he is living the life of Riley and I hope he has many more. Sorry as you can tell, he is the love of my life.
