yeah dude, that was pretty lame. that horse's workout at the sale was pretty dang impressive.

didnt you also miss that 70/1 (something like that) debuter at hollywood at the beginning of that meet as well?

but hey, at least you hit that really super nice 2yo in norcal today!

that filly looked absolutely tremendous in both her sale work and in her race friday.

AND.....

Pay $66.20 to win in your debut, in a 2yo MSW race for Texas breds at Retama Park. And with an Asmussen training no less!

If you think I'm making this up.....do the following.....

Go here: http://www.fasigtipton.com/undertack...tack040107.pdf

Look up Hip #347 and see it's an Early Flyer who went 10 flat.

Now, Go here: http://www.fasigtipton.com/results/2...ults040307.asp

And see that hip #347 is a colt by Early Flyer out of a dam named Fancy Forbes. As you can see, It was RNA'd for $57K. Which means it went back to Cashmark Farm. Which I believe is Cash Asmussen's farm.

Now, go here: http://www.drf.com/drfPDFChartRacesI...=20070914&RN=7

And see that said horse won by 5.5 lengths in a 14 horse field tonight and paid $66.20 - when it seems like $6.20 might have been a juicy overlay.

Not only did this horse work a furlong in 10 flat that day - but it was visually off the charts. With no blinkers and no run-up - he stylishly did it. I even forced a certain guy who posts here to watch the work.

The fact that the horse RNA'd for 57K is ULTRA suspicous....and I'm certain something had to happen to him after his sales work - because he looked athletic enough to easily fetch 175K or more - even with such modest breeding.

In a memorable act of stupidity - I didn't find a way to bet this race. Hey, who wants to bet a debuter at Retama who'll probably pay $3.00 to win anyway?

I went into stablemail saw he won - pulled up the chart - and recieved the bad news that way.

Oh well, these $66 horses - with 2K+ plus exactas are just so easy to stumble across anyway. Someone seriously needs to kill me.
