i hope you've enjoyed your trip down to dc man. i hear your nieces are crazy.
what happened to makderah was that she was full of run, had nowhere to go down on the rail, was eventually shut off and hit the rail hedge so hard she was almost turned completely sideways, which forced her to drop way back. she lost all hope.
if she comes out of the race okay, i'd say she's a great bet back. specially at belmont.
the winners 'incident', for lack of a better term, was nothing.
