Best way to get out of a slump: cut back your wagers by a factor of 10. Don't decrease the wager size, just cut back the number of bets, especially the action plays. Make your bets as soon as you get scratches and track conditions and check results the next day. First, you are only making bets where you have strong opinions, and secondly, you are eliminating any possibility of "chasing".
