NYRA is just as corrupt as any other group though. Buying off politicians has always been connected to horse racing in NY. Just go to Saratoga and see how many boxes have NY politicians names on them.

Not-for-profit is just their tax status. Doesn't mean they should not try to have a business model that makes money.
