Just spoken to my friend. He said the last he heard was that he was going, but he's working in the pre training yard at the moment, so he doesn't know if he has left yet or not.

We had a Turkish racing 'guru' come to speak to us at College in my final year, we were all expecting him to be a kebab eating eastern european...... he came in and it turns out he was a poiceman from Liverpool
who just had a lot of racing contacts in Turkey. It was very interesting though. Apparently the amount of gang land corruption there is in racing over there is unbelieveable.
