If he's making up the injury story to sell his book or if the story is true - It isn't a good thing. I just know what I saw. It's something I won't forget. Like Kevin Carter taking plays off.

I beleive they Rams wanted to make him a fullback with a lot of blocking duties. He wasn't a particular good blocker then or with the Steelers, part of the reason that he never really played in passing situations. The Rams didn't utilize him correctly after his rookie year, which lead to the trade . He may not have been a great team player with the Rams, but there position switch after a very good rookie year was part of the problem.
