..... it's that kind of thing.
This list always frustrates me so I really only glanced at it this time around. I don't like to be told who i should think the best horses are.

I understand what you mean.
Didn't realise that Prise was left off the list at one point. That's shocking, in my opinion she was the best race mare by far in the last few years (and that includes Ouija Board!).
Well, Any Given Saturday is a much improved horse. When you match his last win with Curlin you would have to say that Any Given Saturday would probably beat Rags if they met anytime soon and in my opinion, Rags To Riches is in a different league to Peeping Fawn. Once Peeping Fawn beats the colts (which i'm sure she will at some point this year), it might be a different story.
It's very hard for sprinters to come towards the top of any list, which is why i mentioned Sakhee's Secret. It has long been recognised that the world sprinting division is the weakest of the lot. Miss Andretti is a fantastic race horse, it's just unlucky that she has been born into an era where the sprinters aren't brilliant, unlike the milers and middle distance horses of the world. Hard Spun has put up some fantastic efforts this year, his run in the Derby was brilliant considering where he was the whole way. Asiatic Boy is different though, i don't think he deserves as high as he is (yet). He has been impressive in Dubai but his odds ofr those races tell you just how strong those races were (not very).
I see what you mean about the list. I don't think anyone in the world would totally agree with it. However, the people that create the list know MUCH more than any of us know........ they might be right, but not in my eyes.
