One of those days were I was spot on yet didn't execute at all. I should have known my day was ruined when After Market was scratched, that alone took Jambalaya's odds from 12/1 to 7/1. There were some awesome things that happens though.
1) When the Tin Man came out on the track, Bonny Brown was playing "Over the Rainbow," I thought this was absolutely awesome
2) The rides that Royal Highness and Jambalaya were textbook awesome turf rides, especially Douglas in the Beverely D, that horse came flying.
3) I met a new good friend in Bogey. This guy is awesome, like most Chicago track people
4) I had a great day with friends and my dad. My dad made a killing on all my picks, while I got nothing
5) Million Day or I should say any big racing day does bring out the 'amatuers'. It is AMATUER DAY. Just a quick story (some third person).
Scav has to go get the two girls that were come to the Million with at the Clubhouse entrance. I have already been nosed twice and the mood level was tense. I go to give the girls the two tickets, and this white trash dude goes "GET OUT OF THE WAY", while dragging his 4 year old boy by his wrist aggressively. I state "Take it easy" and he makes a remark, ''Prick'. I go "Excuse me". He replies with "I love Chicago, full of pricks" I go "Take your white trash ass home then bitch" Then the almighty wife that was 340lbs with throwup all over her shirt says something hilarious and I am like "Whatever punk, come get some" and I get the same reply as in "I love Chicago, full of pricks" Then I realize I had 4 Ta-tas that needed attention so I was OUT.
6) Bill Downes Sr is now multi-jurisdictional(?). I am walking into the Gold Room and I hear "SCAV" and it is Bill Downes with his legs crossed with his Miller Lite and his cell phone "It is Marty". Bill Downes, man of the people
7) My forehead is SCORCHED, lobster style.
8) English Channel, would have got smoked by Jambalaya like he got smoked at Toga. TO THE SHELF MY SON

Didn't get nosed, but got "necked" on Irridescence. Still hurts like hell to lose a pick 3 like that. Totally my own fault for playing too light. Hopefully, I will learn this lesson one day. Maybe it's a good thing. Going to Vegas today. Maybe I can remember the lesson since it will be fresh in my mind.
