Anyway, I think they are pointing him towards the Arc and will decide after if he can take the BCC. AT least he is in the right hands. Fabre knows what it takes. I believe that you need a tough horse to take to dirt and Manduro certainly has that profile despite his breeding (well not too many Monsuns have tried dirt Im sure!). He should win on Sunday with the aid of a pacemaker. He's much better than last year!!

He came up against a lot of very good horses last year. I had my biggest bet of the year on him in the Earl Of Sefton in the spring, he didn't disappoint.
As you say i doubt many, if any Monsun's have tried dirt. It's got that he handles faster ground, because most of them need it softer than soft usually. I'd love to see him in the BCC, i think a strongly run 10 furlongs will be his best trip. I'm not convinced that 12 furlongs will suit him that well.
