I can't believe that is how that race unfolded. Anytime a horse that's a graded stakes winner is allowed to lead a race in 49 and change and 1:14 and change on the dirt, they should be conceded the victory right then and there, especially in a race that's only 8.5f. What the hell happened? How does a horse that was absolutely last for 6f close to win going away after those kind of fractions? What the hell is going on?
Well if you subtract 2 seconds since every race seems to be run 2 seconds slower.....then on a cushion or dirt track those fractions would probably be 22.54 and 47.46
