I completely disagree with you that this game has "no edges" or "no rhyme or reason." Are you telling me that people with knowledge like DrugS, hooves, Steve, or Mr. Serling (and many other players on here) don't have an edge over the people that go to the track and play the same numbers over and over again in every race and can't even read the past performances? That is just ridiculous. Of course they have an edge over those people. Why do they have that edge? Two reasons:
1) They have more information than the other players.
2) They have the analytical acuity to put that information to better use than the majority of other players playing the races.
I am merely suggesting that in this situation, there is simply less information available, so the advantages that a good capper has over the random player are minimized.
If there was "no edge" as you suggest, playing the races would be the same as playing the slots or the lotto. I assure you it is not.
