i remember another one from the moral high ground, Bill Bennett, I think he even wrote a book called The Book Of Virtues. Now for the most part I like the guy and think he quite smart, but then several years ago it came out that he blew like hundreds of thousands of dollars on slot machines. So two things came to mind. One, obviously it was his money to blow but when you are preaching virtue for the masses you might want to make sure your own backyard is clean.
the other thought was from a gamblers perspective. I mean how smart can he be putting that much money into slots? the worst possible gambling endeavor, a sure loser. Of course if he was addicted to horse racing I could have more sympathy.  |
Bill Bennett...well, anyone that would rather feed a one-armed bandit than back a horse shows their "brain power".
