While I'm not saying he's the greatest of people in the world and while also recognizing that he could still be found guilty in the future, I was wondering why none of the people that made themselves the judge and jury with their comments before are speaking up at this time. Well,he owns the place where this was all occuring.What are you saying here? That strangers were living at his place,and doing all this? You want us to believe that all this was going on without him knowing about it? Before he stopped running his mouth,Portis said it was his dog,or dogs,and he should basically be able to do whatever he wants there.Most likely he had been there for fights with Vick.At the very least,Vick is guilty of owning this property where all these felonies were occuring,and obviously has trash for a family.If they can't,or (more likely) don't want to convict him of this ,then one way would be to say they don't have enough evidence to prove he was there running it all.In the end,he owned the property of a dog fighting kennel.You can't avoid that.Anybody else(who wasn't a star) would be in deep trouble.We know he knowingly gave a woman Herpes,and paid her to shut up.A lot of people feel that is just as bad (or worse) as the dogfighting.Pick your bad act.There are plenty to go around.I wouldn't take this dogfighting stuff lightly.Believe me,dogs are gunna make some pretty desperate sounds when they are getting their neck chewed up.Anybody who could enjoy it belongs in a cell.Mainly,because they lack normal human sensitivity(they are simply animals,and they could easily kill humans.)
