Thanks for the tips. You were right about the 870 yards. Good luck! For the 870 races, if you play a quarter horse on top of any exotic bet, you MUST, put a tb for 2nd and 3rd. If they don't win in an 870 race, they pretty much always make it close at the end, the quarters usually get the jump on them. I normally mix it up in an 870 race, Overall, I kind of like the quarter horses a little bit more than the tb's. not sure why, though. I guess I like them getting the jump on the tb's.


Another thing, a quarter horse should be able to beat any tb in a straigt race that's 400 yards or less.
