First and foremost, the gate loading process must be SAFE for Horse, Rider, and Handler. It's not how FAST you can load, it's how smooth, and safe you can load. It is a dangerous job that when done right is fair for all. My hat goes off to all the guys and gals who work hard in the AM, and afternoon on the gate so that the race as fair, and safe as can be.
