I grew up in Redford-- Six Mile and Beech Daly area. Not too far away. Redford is a working class neighborhood probably similar to where you were living back in the day. I always have the impression that Redford is a lot like Detroit used to be before everything spun out of control. Now I'm in Farmington Hills.
