It really reminds me of how the more things change, the more they stay the same-- a new sound technology (wax cylinders) comes out, and right away people record sex and profanity. And we thought people were so prim and proper back then!
I seldom listen to NPR (a friend emailed me the link to the story). Maybe I'll start tuning in...
