Agree with Hubie Brown; he is like a basketball professor. Jim Kaat was a terrific baseball analyst. He retired after last year. He might have been fed up with the Yankees' YES Network.
Packer used to be excellent. He has become a gruff old man lately, though. (I always loved listening to Al McGuire, who used to partner with Packer before Billy moved to CBS.)
And I guess that Randy Moss can be considered a color analyst, too. I like listening to him.
I saw Theismann's name somewhere in this thread. That must have been a joke.
