Of course, they could point her to next year's BC Distaff and she STILL wouldn't have to run on real dirt. Ability on real dirt is (whether we like it or not) rapidly becoming less and less relevant for Cali-based horses like her.

I personally think that is way premature, the Distaff. She beat Balance who might or not have been ready and on syn. And beat a speed ball. ANd dont tell the connections of Balance that dirt is not relevant. All of her big wins on dirt, mostly at Santa Anita. And I know the goal for this horse is the Distaff. I would keep the horse on grass but who am I.
