You guys probably don't remember this, but when FSN's Best Damn Sports Show Period first came on, he (Ken Rudolph) had a segment on there called the daily-nightly sports report. It was ****in hilarious. It was kind of like SNL's Weekend Update, except he would goof on sports stories and athletes instead of celebs and real news. But some of the jokes he came up with were hilarious. It did have a little "David Spade"to it as well, because some of the jokes were pretty ruthless. I think that's why it was only for a short time, because the Best Damn people probably didn't wanna piss off athletes and teams (so they wouldn't make appearances on the show). But it was ****in hilarious...

The only joke I remember off the top of my head, had to do with when Ruben Rivera got released by the Yankees for stealing players wallets and other property in the clubhouse a few years ago. The Patriots signed a decent Wide Receiver to help their roster shortly after. So Ken Rudolph says:

"The New England Patriots signed talented Wide Receiver "....." today. That's the best steal in the Northeast since Ruben Rivera stole from the Yankees". I don't do the quote justice, and I probably actually butchered it. But it was hilarious.

I guess what I'm getting at, is Rudolph was hilarious on that short-lived segment of Best Damn. I don't see much of TVG, but from what I saw on Best Damn, does he really suck that bad? Like on a Hammerin' Hank level of suck?
