I'm just glad he is getting the respect he deserves. Everyone was knocking the English guineas just because he won, but that performance was brilliant, averaging sprinting fractions over a mile that day.

Yesterdays performance showed a different side to him, his battling qualities, which he needed when the Bolger horse came upsides him and as Duke Of Marmalade was staying on under pressure. He is a brilliant horse who needs to be talked about. If he was trained by O'Brien, Stoute, Cecil, Bolger, Weld, etc it would be a different story.

I'd love to see this fella run over six furlongs again actually. He looks like a machine.

And so much for Nick Mordin who is classed as one of the best in the business, who said Cockney Rebel would never win another Group one, no matter how weak it was after his English guineas win!!!
