All I know is that when I visited this spring, it's obvious the current regime is very excited about the potential of Easing Along.

First Samuri is in the Unbridled/Secretariat/Bold Ruler stall.

I think the farm has been shifting towards a more commercial paradigm over recent years, both in mare numbers booked per stallion, and stallion bloodlines.

My other impression is that they are not going to be spending excessive bucks just to obtain the current particularly hot stallion, cannot and do not want to particularly try and compete with some of the other farms.

Rather conservative, old fashioned view of stallion management, and grounded in realistic economic trends within the industry. I doubt that particularly draws owners of newly-retired stallions shopping for a facility that will try for Top Ten $$$ and big successful publicity right out of the gate.

Arch and Pulpit seem to be doing well.

I think Horse Chestnut is quite underrated. It didn't help his stud career a bit when his first nice foal, Spanish Chestnut, was entered most inappropriately in the KY Derby.
