I agree. I suppose he hung because he got caught. Like DrugS said, when he moves on the turn it's explosive. Maybe too expolsive for his own good because he doesn't really maintain that move very late. But I don't think he is a hanger like say Perfect Drift.

Thats all i'm trying to say. When I hear people talk about hanging horses it normally describes a horse that for whatever reason won't run to his true ability because when he gets next to horses in the stretch he won't pass them, but instead will just run with them and not pass them, or will come back to the field. the bottom line is that the horse doesn't give it all.
How can a horse like Street Sense be a hanger when he runs his heart out almost every time in very fast times?
If Curlin was not in that race and SS ran the very same performance, there would be no talk of hanging.
