How so? Everyone, including his rider is saying he hung today. In both of those 2yo races, he was caught and passed in the lane. This is not taking anything away from the horse or his ability. He's a very good horse. But whether it's a distance thing (hard to argue that since his hanging in the 2yo's was in shorter races and he went on to win the Derby) or it's a mental trait, the fact remains that he's been caught several times from behind when it looks like he's on his way to victory.
