Richie is an unusually sharp guy who absolutely loves everything about the game. Not as a knock on other riders, and I have honestly never really spoken about racing with any, but it would be hard to find a more knowledgable and informative source. However, I value insights from all the people I know at the racetrack, especially backstretch people, as they can offer ideas that I don't know about. Obviously one shouldn't take everything at face value but a different take will often at least be interesting.
The thing about my asking Mig is I know enough about
what to ask that I can usually get an informed opinion from him. Let's face it, no matter how much I might think I know, he will know plenty of things I
can't know.
