Chilukki is dead at 10

Chilukki, 1999 champion juvenile filly, died Monday at the Hagyard Equine Medical Institute in Lexington, Ky., due to foaling complications, Stonerside Stables announced. The 10-year-old Cherokee Run mare's Ghostzapper foal, a colt, also died. Chilukki, a daughter of Song of Syria, by Damascus, has been buried at Stonerside near Paris, Ky.
