Plus it's a great "low-profile" trainer story with Eddie Kennealy. I can't imagine Bushfire will make the CCA. Maybe the Alabama or even not till September for the Gazelle. Then on to the Beldame and BCDistaff. Close to acieving big stuff. Love me some Bushfire!
I think Bushfire is quickly becomming a very, very special horse. She has a lot of heart.

The best win for me this weekend was Funny Cide's. I was sure the horse was going to pass him in the stretch, but then he flattened his ears and dug in. I couldn't believe he turned the horse away! For a moment, I thought I was watching Seabiscuit!!!

I also thought that Henny Hughes turned in a wonderful race. He annihilated that field!!! Sprinter of the Year 2006.

Wait A While is the mare...on turf at least!

All in all, I had a great weekend too. And it's about to get even better. Two more straight days at the OTB with nothing to do but play the ponies! Plus, I get to see Buddy Gil today at Churchill. I can't wait to see that race. He goes against Don't Get Mad and Greater Good.
