The blogger in question was Justin Dew. There's no telling who his "private clocker" might be. It could have just as well been a hot walker with a wrist watch. You would think that he'd be a little more detailed in his writing. Maybe he's just trying to push the odds up on Hard Spun by reporting shoddy, second hand information.

I didn't have any trouble replying, when I submitted is when things got a little suspect. My first post went through then was gone, when I tried to post again, I got an error saying I wasn't authorized, and when I tried the third time the entire thread was gone....the whole chain of events just stunk....when whoever tried to cover it up is when it got really stupid, because when he replied to one poster, he said he was simply commenting on his work at Churchill....HS's on work to date at Churchill was a 5F bullet. so imo opinion and I apologize if any knows him personally, I don't care what his credentials are, his opinion means nothing.
I have no idea if I'm going to use Hard Spun in any picks, but I still consider him one of the top tier horses in this year's Derby and if he gets a good break and is up on the lead coming out of the first turn, he could be really tough to beat.
With so many intanglibles in this years Derby.....preps on poly, time between preps, etc....it's a shame that one of the so called experts can cloud the picture even more....
